  • Starts working on print «Enable Blue (flat mode)» for portfolio of Museo de Arte de Ponce, «Círculo de las Artes» the MAP's Program, which includes artists Charles Juhasz, Antonio Martorell, Arnaldo Roche Rabell, Melquíades Rosario, Jaime Suárez, Rafael Trelles, Víctor Vázquez, among others. The artist's proposal is a print artwork using commercial printing (Elmendorf), base on painting «Enable Blue». The artist uses Pantone Metallic Integrated Process Color (Silver and Gold) to produce a limited print edition on Warren Lustro Dull (100lb, cover, 8" x 12") and American Lumiart (70lb, text). This is a five passes printing process. The images area is 4.75 x 6.7/8 inch (bleed), that is glue (conservation tape) only the top corners to the Warren Lustro Dull. Historical references are: Donald Judd and Yves Klein, especially the latest's «Peintures» (1954).
  • Artist's work «It’s to me» (1989), is published on cover of Literature Journal «Katatay», Argentina (La Plata, ISSN 1669-3868).

  • Mid career exhibition: «Artist Interrupted: From Post to After», Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico, San Juan. Guest-curate by Dr. Elaine King, a professor of the history of art and theory at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.
  • O'Neill its invited to be one of the founding members of the «Docomomo», Chapter of Puerto Rico.
  • Partcipates in Paco Colo's «Pulpo», at Galería Nacional, Instituto de Cultura Puertorriqueña (ICP). Colo ideas where to create an oversize artist book project matching up around 25 artists and writers. O'Neill collaborated with poet Liliana Ramos.
  • Start working in a colaborative piece with architect Andrés Mignucci Giannon. They both get accepted to finish it on site, at Art and Arquitecture Residency at Centro Cultural Casapoli, Chile, for 2008. O'Neill received grant from Programa de Artes Plásticas, Instituto de Cultura Puertorriqueña for the first stage of the proyect.

Two-week seminar «Beyond Babel: the Art and Science of Empathic Translations» focus on semantic translations between human language and mechanistic scientific language, both verbal and nonverbal. Given by professors Alice Flaherty (Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital), Margarita Alegria (Harvard Medical School, Center for Multicultural Health Research), Graham Ramsay (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, photographer), Marco Abarca (University of Puerto Rico Law School), Alan del Castillo (psychiatrist), Melissa Gerald ( University of Puerto Rico, Caribbean Primate Research Center), Antonio Martorell (DRCLAS Visiting Scholar Spring 2008, artist) and Alicia Pousada (University of Puerto Rico, Department of English).

  • Participates in «Objetivos Móviles», a proyect that was done before in Berlin (Germany) and Poznan (Polonia). The event occured Friday, February 29 in Buenos Aires. The route was from Proyecto'ace, Buenos Aires to the Centro de Edición Gráfica, Sáenz Pena, Provincia de Buenos Aires. On the following train "Línea General Urquiza", between the stations Federico Lacroze and Fernández Moreno. Curated by John Hitchcock and Alicia Candiani. Also participating from Puerto Rico are Rafi Trelles (who proposed the participants), Rafa Rivera Rosa, Néstor Otero and Garvin Sierra. O'Neill participation was a superimposition of languages that include Spanish, Sign Language (from Puerto Rico) and Braille. All departing from James Joyce's quote "gesture, not music not odours, would be a universal language" (Joyce, Ulysses 432).

  • Paper «Termites behaviour as tactic in design practice» is included in the «II Encuentro internacional: La economía de los trabajadores. Autogestión y trabajo frente a la crisis global». Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la Universidad de Buenos Aires. On the panel: «Problemas de la autogestión» (recuperadasdoc.com.ar), Alejandro Schmied does the presentation and intervention.
  • Book «Painting for a Specific Floor» gets publish.
  • Start teaching as an adjunct professor at Escuela Internacional de Diseño, Turabo University. Teach Color, Package and Graphic Design. Part of her responsibilities is to help evaluate the design program.
  • The design studio works with the followings clients: Enrique Renta, Museum Casa Roig and Intetlab. They also invite argentine designer to collaborate in the project of design exploration thru the typography Hotel Excelsior. In the month of November to early December, O'Neill, Arthur Asseo and Veronica Cano go to Buenos Aires to participate in a clinic co produced by Rubberbandpr and Pablo Cosgaya at FADU/UBA ( Facultad de Arquitectura, Diseño y Urbanismo de la Universidad de Buenos Aires). Special guest are Miguel Catopodis, Carlos Carpintero and Juan Montoreano, argentine typographers.

  • Paper «Typography restoration as a sign for understandings political discourse» is included in the «4th International Conference on Typography and Visual Communication» on the theme of "Lending Grace to Language". Department of Design & Multimedia of the University of Nicosia, Cyprus. Arthur Asseo (co-author) and O'Neill are speaker in conjuction with another international presenters, including Neville Brody.  In reference to her project Hotel Excelsior (2007-2010).
  • Invites Arq. Mignucci and the  Escuela Internacional de Diseño, Turabo University to initiated a educational plataform for social responsibility in design practice. Conceptualized and develop Cátedra Haití (catedrahaiti.wordpress.com), an educational transnational project that collaborates with different disciplines and universities in able to create and produce design services for the 2 stage of Reconstruction of Haiti.
